Research Impact & Significance – Nanocrytalline TiO2 were grown on Carbon Nanotube (CNT) networks using a hydrothermal process for the fabrication of Dye sensitized solar cells (DSCs), a low-cost and flexible thin film solar cell. The goal of the research is the formation of aligned TiO2 nanoarrays which provide a better internal electron transportation for the DSCs. Also, CNTs networks enable faster charge transferring while maintaining the flexibility of the electrode.
