Research Impact & Significance – My research growing ultra pure depleted Uranium (dU) contributes to research being done to understand the crystal structure and phase transitions in Uranium; particularly in extreme conditions (low temperature, high pressure, high magnetic fields). This work will ultimately help the physics community to better understand this material and any practical applications it may have.
